iMET Global launched Digital and Social Media programme to make students global professionals

iMET Global in association with Guru Nanak Institute of Management, Delhi launched 'Digital and Social Media Programme' to make students global professionals. Deepak Jalan, Group Head of Resourcing at Tech Mahindra was chief guest at the event. Deepak Goel, CEO and Co-Founder of iMET Global, Prof (Dr) Sangeeta Gupta, Director of Guru Nanak Institute of Management were also present.

In his inaugural address Deepak Jalan explained the need of quality training in Digital Media and its crucial role in getting to the new generation jobs. "We are always short of quality manpower and are keen to recruit people who have the required knowledge and skills." He added.

"Guru Nanak Institute of Management is continuously engaged in enriching its students with the optimum mix of academic and industrial inputs to keep them abreast of current developments and contemporary knowledge. 'Digital and Social Media Programme' is to make our students industry ready. We want to grow them as global professionals. Prof (Dr) Sangeeta Gupta said.

"New Gen students are beyond any conventional course book format or industry. They want to learn skills that really matters. The Digital India plan envisioned by the Prime Minister of India will bring in new dimensions to the job market. And our students have to grab this opportunity and show the world that they are fit to be global professionals" Deepak Goel explained.
