Bajaj Auto launched its new Avenger Series

Bajaj Auto, the motorcycle giant has launched its new Avenger 220 Cruise, Avenger Street and Avenger 150 Street with a price tag of Rs 84,000, Rs 84,000 and Rs 75,000 respectively (ex-showroom Delhi) in India on 27 October. Although there is currently no competition to the Bajaj Avenger in India, and the company thought it best to give it a sort of makeover. The company has already updated the Platina, Discover and Pulsar marquees and with the festive season around the corner, the updated Avengers was the way to go.

While the new Bajaj Avenger Street 220 and Cruise 220 feature the same 220cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled DTS-i engine that did duty on the old Avenger, the Avenger 150cc derives its power from a slightly tuned version of the old Pulsar 150. The 220 DTS-i unit churns out 19bhp and 17.5Nm, and the 2015 Bajaj Avenger 150’s engine produces 14.5bhp and 12.5Nm.
