Delhi prepares for the eighth edition of India Art Fair

India Art Fair is South Asia’s leading platform for modern and contemporary art and portal to the region’s cultural landscape. Founded in 2008, India Art Fair has become the bedrock of a now booming cultural community with connections to every level of the market. Neha Kirpal founded India Art Fair in 2008 in New Delhi, providing an opportunity to artists to display their works of art and craft. The fair is attended by artists and enthusiasts from the world over. Since its inception, the fair has gained global recognition as the leading arts event in South Asia, intrinsic to the development of India’s cultural reputation.
The fair has always seen immense footfall each year making India Art Fair one of the most widely engaging fairs in the world. In recognition of this global impact and success, Neha has received several awards and recognitions in the arts and cultural entrepreneurship. She was recently selected as one of the Young Global Leaders by the World Economic Forum, 2015 – 2021.
This year’s edition will bring in 94 exhibitors from 19 countries. The Fair has acted as a perfect platform for exhibitors to exhibit their artwork and crafts. The India Art Fair is the country’s premier international art fair. It exhibits modern as well as contemporary artworks from almost all parts of the world. The fair has already organized seven editions, showcasing over 300 galleries of 3,000 artists and is all set for their eighth edition of India Art Fair 2016 starting from 28th January to 31st January at the NSIC grounds, Okhla Industrial Area, New Delhi.
