Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella in India to sign MoU with Andhra Pradesh

The Andhra Pradesh government will sign a MoU with software giant Microsoft to work towards establishing a technologically advanced and knowledge-based economy. The MoU will be signed when Nadella will meet Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, MoU will work to establish a better environment in education system of the state.
Under the MoU, Microsoft will support Andhra Pradesh in building of up to three proof-of-concept (POC) solutions in the fields of education, agriculture and eCitizen services. The government will utilize Microsoft’s Azure Machine Learning and Advanced Visualization lab technology for predictive analytics. This technology will act as a major catalyst for achieving sustainable doubt-digit growth and better public services.
The Andhra government was going to launch policies during his presence, but due to his request to keep the event low profile, the announcements were cancelled. The announcements were based on state’s IT, gaming and animation policies.
Meanwhile, Microsoft has also offered assistance in cloud technology and will provide training to the government officials for the better functioning in agriculture, education and citizen services.
Nadella will also visit the India’s largest technology incubator in the town- T-Hub (developed by the State Government). He will also be addressing young entrepreneurs there.
