Mercedes-Benz India makes major organisational changes

Mercedes-Benz India Pvt. Ltd has reshuffled roles in its after sales and marketing division. Devdutta Chandavarkar, who is heading the after-sales function, will take on a larger role at Mercedes-Benz Middle-East and will be based out of Dubai.
Santosh Iyer, vice-president, marketing and customer relationship management. He will now head the after-sales and retail training function of the company in India. Both the appointments will be effective fromJanuary 1, 2016. Iyer will continue to be part of the management board.

Devdutta Chandavarkar has been associated with Mercedes-Benz for over 17 years and has been instrumental in ensuring Mercedes-Benz topped the CSI scores in Aftersales twice in a row in the JD Power CSI Study.
While under Santosh Iyer's leadership, Mercedes-Benz India's Customer Relations Management activity stepped up to the next level, resulting in enhancing customer satisfaction.
