Dentsu Webchutney wins Digital Duties of Red Bull

Red Bull, the well known player in the energy drinks section has awarded its digital duties to Dentsu Webchutney. The agency will be responsible for the company’s overall digital initiatives. Apart from Webchutney, other agencies such as Indigo Consulting and iContract were in the fray for the business, among many others.

Red Bull majorly targets 18- to-34-year-old men based on their interests—being outdoors, taking risks and having fun. The brand began sponsoring "edge sport" athletes, like base jumpers, BMX racers and mountain bikers.

Austrian company also has its own media house known as Red Bull Media House, which is a multi-platform media company with a focus on sports, culture, and lifestyle. Some of its products include Red Bull TV, Servus TV, Terra Mater, Redbull.com, Red Bull TV Online, The Red Bulletin, Red Bull Mobile, Red Bull Music Publishing and others. They also creates TV shows, magazines, movies, books, music and more, but they also distribute their creations everywhere from newsstands, to theaters, TV, YouTube, mobile apps and, of course, the Web. It is also one of the first brands to create content that its audience actually sought out.
