Microsoft to unveil Surface Pro 4 on January 7 in India

Microsoft's newest tablet Surface Pro 4 is all set for its India debut. It is expected that Microsoft is going to launch its Surface Pro 4 tablet at a event in Delhi, also, earlier this year, Satya Nadela, CEO of the company has announced during his trip to India that the device will be launched in the first week of January.

The new Surface Pro 4 is a larger but thinner and lighter version of the Surface Pro 3 tablet. Surface Pro 4 is available in 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, 1TB SSD storage options with varying range of memory. The starting model runs on Intel Core m3 processor with 128GB internal storage and 4GB RAM.

The users can select the processor from the wide range of Intel’s 6th-generation Core processors, from Core M3 for the base model, to Core i5 and Core i7 options. These configurations are powered by Intel HD Graphics 515, Intel HD Graphics 520, and Intel Iris Graphics respectively.

The company claims that their new tablet delivers up to 9 hours of battery backup. In addition, it sports  an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Microsoft also launched the next-gen Surface Pen, which can detect 1,024 points of pressure. The Surface Pen also comes with an eraser could come handy when doodling or using photo editing apps.
