"The event will demonstrate the power of peace by bringing millions of people together. It is an opportunity for world leaders from social, political, business fields to come together and renew their vision to work towards the welfare of society," he adds.
They have built six access roads to the venue from Barapulla, Sarai Kale Khan, Mayur Vihar and through DND. The Indian Army was called in to help build two pontoon bridges over the main Yamuna river channel. The work on the venue is going full throttle with statues of giant elephants have already been erected for the welcoming of guests to the stage where the performances will be held. With not so many days left for the event, the public is all set to witness the grand celebration and experience the gamut of culture that India houses, with a riot of colors, festivity, celebration, joy, happiness and smiles all around.

The guest list also includes senior BJP leader LK Advani, Union culture minister Mahesh Sharma, senior Congress leader Karan Singh and the Delhi culture minister, Kapil Mishra of the Aam Aadmi Party.
At the Art of Living, they believe that traditions and cultures are an important aspect of every individual's life. Whether its music, food, or arts, they need to be introduced to the world and the world to them. The event is a much awaited and forseen one with lots of promotions going around and all the controversies it has tangled into.
A legal complaint was filed by Manoj Misra, a retired Indian Forest Service Officer against Art of Living stating that any construction activity or event on Yamuna floodplain is against NGT’s judgement, the famed ‘Maily Se Nirmal Yamuna’ order dated January 13, 2015. It had directed that Yamuna's banks be left undisturbed and in (wild) vegetation to serve as pollution cleansing and recharge zone for the river. But the Art of Living founder, Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar has denied the reports and clarified that his event has not disturbed any environment protection norms. NGT is now hearing the case on a daily basis.
