The 21st century generations have no idea of it. Knowing the Mahabharata is important for the young Indian minds. MindSky Design Labs have narrowed down a way to disseminate the rich heritage and glorious past through their ‘Stories from Mahabharata’ app; an interactive storybook app series designed to run on iPad and Android tablets in 10 different languages ie. English, German, French, Sanskrit, Hindi, Gujarati, Telugu, Kannada, Tamil and Malayalam. This reduces the language barrier for the young minds to know about the rich heritage India inherits. The Mahabharata is a monumental assortment of stories, characters, subplots, philosophies, teachings and portrayals of dramatic life-situations.
The young Indian generations are wired globally with internet and mobile phones. They are aware of the present happenings but when it comes to the history of India, it takes a sour turn for them. Knowing the Mahabharata is important for the young Indian mind. It opens a window to the glory of our ancient teachings and heritage. This “Tales from Mahabharata” app is soon to be released on Google playstore and app store. The youngminds have always had the urge to know learn more about Mahabharata but with the advent of modern day nuclear families these story rituals have sadly eroded. This app is the complete answer for them. With brilliant artwork and delightful features in the stories will transport the child to the royal palace of Hastinapura, the forests of Kamyaka, the plains of Kurukshetra and the lofty heights of Mount Meru as the narrative unfolds.
MindSky Design Labs Pvt. Ltd based in Kerala also plans to illustrate all the ancient epics of India like Ramayana, Vedas, Upanishads in the same medium and technology that the present day children are well aware and have access to, so they are able to understand and appreciate.
