Carat Bags Media Duties Of Ministry Of Tourism

The Union Ministry of Tourism has awarded its media duties to Carat Media, a Dentsu Aegis Network agency. The estimated size of the business is in the range of Rs 550-600 crore which will be spread over three years of the deal.

Carat Media will be accountable for managing the media planning for all mediums including television, print and digital, for all investments of the ministry outside India. This business will be handled from the agency's Gurgaon office. The win comes on the back of the agency's acquisitions of Mondelez, Pfizer, and Columbia Asia accounts recently. The major aim of the annual campaign – Incredible India – is to popularise the tourism in the country and in different states too.
