Dated: August 04, 2016
Paritosh Joshi, who was associated with India TV since November 2, 2015 as their Chief Executive Officer has decided to step down from his duties. Besides working as strategist for India TV for three years, Joshi was also working on a number of industry initiatives including BARC and MRUC after quitting as CEO of Star CJ Network in April 2012.
Commenting on Joshi's decision, Ritu Dhawan, managing director, India TV, says in a press release, "(Paritosh) Joshi joined us in November, 2015, and while we hoped that this would be a long association, it has clearly proven taxing for him as he continues to commute between two metros. He has now chosen to return to his family in Mumbai. It was a pleasure having him on board, and we wish him well in his future endeavours."
Joshi, who has been involved with a number of industry initiatives, including BARC India, was associated as a strategist with India TV from 2012, and was then brought on board as chief executive officer in November last year. Prior to India TV, he was CEO, Star CJ Network.
