Havas Media Ropes in Nitin Karkara as Head Of Digital

Havas Media Group India has appointed Nitin Karkara as head of its digital operations. Karkara's mandate at the agency will be to promote and drive growth for the 360-degree digital offering. He replaces Ranjoy Dey who has moved on from the agency. Karkara was previously at Cheil. Karkara has over 17 years of experience in the industry and has worked across big brands and agencies such as Coca Cola, Wunderman, O&M, ISHIR Digital, Sapient Corporation, Samsung India Electronics, and Global Logic.

Havas Media Group India and south Asia CEO Anita Nayyar said, “Nitin has the rare mix of leading from the front, both from the client and agency side. We’ve had tremendous organic digital expansion.
