Infectious Launches Full-Service Design Division, Infectious Design

Infectious has added a design unit to its operations. Called Infectious Design, the unit is headed by Khalid Khatri, and has a three-member team. This follows the launch of Firki Productions, for film. Khatri was ECD at Infectious prior. The full service design house will be a sister company of Infectious.
Ramanuj Shastry, founder and partner, Infectious and Firki Productions, said,“While Infectious will help brands find a defining voice and an engaging personality, Infectious Design will help brands find a unique look and identity. Khalid is a brilliant designer and I am sure he will lead Infectious Design to new heights.”
During the launch Nisha Singhania, founder and partner, Infectious and Firki Productions, added, “Identity is a critical part of brand creation and communication. It was a natural extension for Infectious. With Khalid at the helm, we are sure of having some spectacular work in our folio.”
Infectious Design has already worked on identity projects. These include Aegon Life (when it changed from AegonReligare), Happ Post (a news app which has a positive take on news) and the recently relaunched DNA, for which the unit created the new identity and masthead.
