Parminder Singh quits Twitter as MD-Southeast Asia, India and MENA

Twitter’s India and South East Asia’s Managing Director Parminder Singh has resigned from the company. The announcement comes soon after Twitter India head Rishi Jaitly announced his departure as well. Singh has been with Twitter since November 2013, and prior to that he was Managing Director - Display Solution Sales, APAC at Google. He has also had stints with other tech companies like Apple and IBM.
Following this, Twitter has appointed Maya Hari as its new Managing Director of India and Southeast Asia, reporting to Aliza Knox, VP of Asia Pacific, who is heading the company's Asia Pacific business.
Parminder Singh had joined Twitter from Google in November 2013. At Google, Singh was leading the company's Display Advertising business for the Asia Pacific region.
He's also worked as Google India's Business head for nearly three years, where he led the monetization of IPL Cricket Tournament streaming on YouTube, besides looking after monetization for other Google properties like Search, Google Display Network and Orkut.
