Uber has launched a back-to-school campaign offering a week of free rides and eats to teen account holders. Created by Mother New York, “Manifest Your Best Year Ever” blends manifestation culture with high-energy creative, spanning film, audio, social and out-of-home, and touring ten US high schools nationwide.

As the back-to-school season begins, Uber is rolling out a bold new campaign designed to capture the imagination of teenagers while easing the burden on parents. For one week, teen account holders will enjoy free rides and eats, a gesture that positions Uber as both a facilitator of youthful independence and a trusted partner for families.

The campaign, titled Manifest Your Best Year Ever, has been crafted by Mother New York and directed by Adam & Dave of Arts and Sciences. Drawing inspiration from the popular manifestation trend, the creative encourages teens to visualise and embrace their best possible school year. The work will be visible across multiple platforms, including film, audio, social media and out-of-home placements, ensuring it resonates with young audiences wherever they are.

Uber is also taking the campaign directly to its target demographic, with plans to tour ten high schools across the United States. From Seattle to Chicago, Miami to New York, the initiative will bring the brand’s message to life in the very spaces where teenage culture thrives. This on-the-ground activation underscores Uber’s commitment to embedding itself in the everyday routines of young people.

Marisa Siegel, Uber’s head of mobility brand marketing, explained the thinking behind the initiative: “With Uber teen accounts, we’re helping teens get more out of their school year—from getting to class and activities to spending time with friends—while giving parents a helping hand and greater peace of mind.” Her words highlight the dual audience at the heart of the campaign: teenagers seeking autonomy and parents seeking reassurance.

The creative approach taps into the optimism and energy of a new academic year, while the free rides and eats offer tangible value. By aligning itself with the rhythms of teenage life—school runs, extracurricular activities, social outings—Uber is positioning its teen accounts as an essential tool for modern families.

The campaign’s blend of cultural relevance, practical utility and creative flair reflects Uber’s broader strategy of embedding itself into everyday life. For teens, it promises freedom and fun; for parents, it offers safety and convenience. As the school year begins, Uber’s message is clear: manifesting the best year ever starts with knowing you can get where you need to be.
