Flipkart, in collaboration with Mondelēz International and Leo India, has unveiled a Rakshabandhan campaign celebrating sibling bonds. Directed by Mithun R Shaw and produced by Ashish Gole, the film brings together creative talents from Flipkart Minutes and Leo India, offering a warm festive tribute to brothers and sisters everywhere.

Happy Rakhi to all the brothers and sisters out there — that is the spirit driving Flipkart’s latest festive campaign, created in partnership with Mondelēz International and Leo India. The film, directed by Mithun R Shaw and produced by Ashish Gole, is a heartfelt ode to sibling bonds, blending humour, warmth and cultural resonance in equal measure.

The collaboration draws on the creative energy of Flipkart Minutes and a talented team including Pratik Shetty, Arun Jayaraman, Rupa Choudhury and Vismay Dharamsey, alongside Leo India’s Abhimanyu Khedkar, Archit Gadiyar, Ahel Maswood, Dia Gosai, Sanket Sutar, Rajat Pandey, Ryan Carlo and Tapan Desai. Together, they have crafted a narrative that captures the joy, banter and affection that define Rakshabandhan.

The campaign’s tone is celebratory yet intimate, reflecting the festival’s essence as one rooted in family ties and shared memories. By foregrounding the bond between brothers and sisters, the film resonates with audiences who see Rakhi not just as a ritual but as a reminder of enduring love and playful rivalry. The creative teams have ensured that the message is both universal and personal, striking a chord across diverse households.

Mondelēz International’s involvement adds a layer of indulgence, with its long-standing association with festive gifting through Cadbury Celebrations. Flipkart’s platform, meanwhile, provides the reach and accessibility to make the campaign a shared cultural moment. The synergy between brand, agency and production house highlights the evolving nature of festive advertising in India, where storytelling and emotional connection take precedence over mere promotion.

The film’s direction by Mithun R Shaw and production under Ashish Gole’s guidance ensures a polished, cinematic quality that elevates the campaign beyond conventional advertising. It is not just a brand message but a festive greeting, one that acknowledges the importance of Rakshabandhan in Indian households while celebrating the creativity of those behind the scenes.

Ultimately, the campaign is a reminder that festivals are about people — the brothers and sisters who make the rituals meaningful, and the creative teams who bring those emotions to life on screen. Flipkart, Mondelēz International and Leo India have together delivered a Rakhi tribute that is as joyous as it is heartfelt, ensuring that this year’s celebration is remembered not only for its traditions but also for its storytelling.
