LVMH appoints Laura Burdese as Bvlgari’s new CEO, effective July 1, 2026, succeeding Jean-Christophe Babin. With expertise in marketing and brand management, Burdese is poised to drive growth and maintain Bvlgari’s luxury status, reporting to Stéphane Bianchi, LVMH Watches & Jewelry CEO.

LVMH has appointed Laura Burdese as the new CEO of Bvlgari, effective July 1, 2026, marking a significant shift in the luxury brand’s leadership. Burdese, who joined LVMH in 2016, brings a wealth of experience in marketing, brand management, and luxury goods to her new role. Her appointment underscores LVMH’s commitment to nurturing talent and driving growth in its iconic brands.

Burdese’s career in luxury began with the Swatch Group, where she worked with brands like Swatch and Calvin Klein. She later became CEO of Acqua di Parma, a position she held for five years before joining Bvlgari in 2022 as Chief Marketing Officer. Her rapid ascent to Deputy CEO in July 2024 reflects her exceptional leadership skills and strategic vision.

In her new role, Burdese will report to Stéphane Bianchi, LVMH Managing Director and CEO of LVMH Watches & Jewelry. Bianchi praised Burdese’s contributions to Bvlgari, saying she has played a key role in elevating the brand’s positioning as an “iconic Roman jewelry maison”.

Burdese succeeds Jean-Christophe Babin, who has led Bvlgari for 12 years. Babin will remain Chairman of the Board of Directors, CEO of Bvlgari Hotels & Resorts, and President of the Bvlgari Foundation. He will also continue to oversee LVMH’s watches unit, which includes TAG Heuer, Hublot, and ZENITH Watches.

With Burdese at the helm, Bvlgari is poised to continue its legacy as a leading luxury jewelry brand. Her marketing expertise and leadership skills will be crucial in driving growth and maintaining Bvlgari’s position in the competitive luxury market.
