Independent agency Edge Marketing has strengthened its leadership team with a series of senior hires and internal promotions as it prepares for the next phase of growth. The appointments aim to expand the agency’s capabilities in paid media, client service and creative design amid increasing complexity in modern marketing.

Independent agency Edge Marketing has strengthened its leadership and specialist capabilities with a series of senior hires and internal promotions, signalling a new phase of growth for the Gold Coast-based firm as it adapts to the rapidly evolving demands of modern marketing.

Announced on 16 March 2026, the appointments reflect the agency’s broader strategy to expand expertise across paid media, client service, project management and creative design. The move comes as organisations increasingly seek integrated marketing solutions capable of addressing complex business challenges rather than simply promoting products or services.

Leading the new appointments is Tika Hasborth, who joins the agency as Senior Paid Media Strategist. Her arrival strengthens Edge Marketing’s paid media division at a time when brands are investing heavily in digital platforms to build stronger connections with fragmented audiences.

Hasborth brings a wide-ranging professional background that spans agency roles, in-house marketing teams and consultancy work. Most recently she operated her own advisory business, giving her insight into both strategic marketing development and the operational realities faced by modern organisations.

At Edge Marketing she will report directly to Mira Robinson, Head of Paid Media, and will take responsibility for shaping the agency’s social advertising strategy. Her role will involve developing campaigns designed to deliver measurable outcomes for clients while ensuring advertising investments remain aligned with broader business goals.

Founder and Director Dan Hunjas described Hasborth’s appointment as a key step in strengthening the agency’s ability to help clients navigate an increasingly fragmented marketing environment.

According to Hunjas, Hasborth’s experience across multiple sectors gives her a clear understanding of the pressures organisations face as they compete for attention in crowded digital channels. He noted that her combination of strategic thinking and commercial awareness makes her well placed to help businesses unlock growth opportunities through carefully targeted social media campaigns.

Hasborth said she was drawn to Edge Marketing because of its reputation for delivering integrated marketing strategies that produce tangible results. She emphasised that the agency’s commitment to investing in people, technology and systems creates an environment where innovative social media strategies can be developed and executed effectively.

Beyond strengthening its paid media expertise, Edge Marketing has also appointed Jasmine Hefty as Digital Account Manager. In this role she will work closely with Head of Client Service Matt Roessler to support client relationships and drive long-term business growth.

Hefty brings eight years of experience in digital marketing and client leadership roles. Her responsibilities will include managing strategic partnerships, guiding clients through evolving digital landscapes and ensuring that campaigns align with broader organisational objectives.

The agency has also expanded its creative capabilities with the appointment of Victoria Hutchinson as graphic designer. Hutchinson’s immediate task will be to refresh Edge Marketing’s visual identity and go-to-market creative assets as the brand evolves its positioning in a competitive communications industry.

Her work will focus on strengthening the agency’s design language and reinforcing its commitment to high-quality creative output at a time when the industry is experiencing a surge of automated and AI-generated content. By emphasising thoughtful design and originality, Edge Marketing aims to ensure its creative work continues to stand out in a crowded digital environment.

Hunjas said the combination of new talent and fresh creative direction reflects the momentum the agency has built in recent years. As marketing channels multiply and audience behaviour shifts rapidly, he argued that agencies must invest heavily in specialist expertise and robust internal systems if they are to deliver meaningful results for clients.

He noted that modern marketing success increasingly depends on solving complex business problems rather than simply executing promotional campaigns. For agencies, this means integrating strategic planning, creative development, data analysis and performance marketing into cohesive solutions capable of driving measurable growth.

Alongside its new hires, Edge Marketing has also recognised the contributions of several existing team members through internal promotions designed to strengthen the organisation’s operational structure.

Sushmita Sharma has been promoted to Senior Account Manager in recognition of her long-term role in supporting client growth. Known within the agency for her rigorous approach to processes and accountability, Sharma has played an important part in developing systems that keep client goals central to the agency’s day-to-day operations.

Her promotion reflects Edge Marketing’s belief that strong internal frameworks are essential to delivering consistent results in an increasingly complex marketing environment. By refining workflows and maintaining clear accountability structures, Sharma’s work helps ensure that campaigns remain focused on achieving measurable outcomes.

Another internal advancement sees Jayd Ozolins promoted to Senior Project Manager. In this role he will take on a key responsibility in implementing the agency’s “second-layer” client service model, an approach designed to ensure that projects are delivered efficiently while maintaining high standards of responsiveness and communication.

Ozolins will also lead initiatives aimed at improving project management systems and strengthening coordination across the agency’s various teams. The goal is to create a structure that allows Edge Marketing to remain agile while scaling its operations to serve a growing client base.

For Hunjas, these promotions are as important as the external hires, highlighting the agency’s commitment to recognising talent from within and building a culture where professional growth is encouraged.

He emphasised that maintaining a high-performing team is essential not only for the agency’s own development but also for the success of its clients. As marketing strategies become more sophisticated, organisations increasingly rely on agencies capable of combining specialised knowledge with collaborative teamwork.

The latest appointments and promotions come at a time when independent agencies are positioning themselves as agile alternatives to large global networks. By investing in specialised expertise while maintaining a flexible structure, firms such as Edge Marketing aim to respond quickly to changing market conditions and deliver tailored solutions for clients.

Hunjas concluded that the strengthened team places Edge Marketing in a strong position to continue expanding its services and supporting client growth. With new talent joining the organisation and experienced team members stepping into larger roles, the agency believes it is well prepared to meet the evolving challenges of modern marketing.

“These appointments and promotions demonstrate the confidence and momentum we are experiencing,” Hunjas said, adding that attracting and developing the right people remains the cornerstone of the agency’s long-term strategy.
