The 75-foot display with Dolby Vision 3D and Dolby Atmos promises an immersive moviegoing experience, positioning the venue among Asia’s most technologically advanced theatres and a landmark for premium cinema exhibition.
South Indian film star Allu Arjun has inaugurated Allu Cinemas at AAA Mall in Hyderabad’s bustling Ameerpet district, introducing a state-of-the-art multiplex that features what is being described as India’s largest Dolby Cinema screen.
The new theatre forms part of the wider Allu Studios complex in Kokapet, near the city’s Financial District, marking another step in the actor’s growing presence in the entertainment infrastructure sector. Designed to deliver a premium moviegoing environment, the multiplex combines large-scale visual presentation with cutting-edge audio and projection technologies.
The centrepiece of Allu Cinemas is its massive 75-foot-wide Dolby Cinema screen, believed to be the largest of its kind in India and across Asia, and among the biggest globally. The format integrates advanced projection and sound technologies to elevate the cinematic experience beyond conventional theatres.
Audiences at the venue will experience films through Dolby Vision 3D projection, which offers sharper images, enhanced brightness and deeper contrast levels. This visual system is paired with Dolby Atmos immersive audio, delivering multidimensional surround sound designed to place viewers at the centre of the action.
The launch reflects the increasing demand for high-end theatrical experiences in India’s major cities, where multiplex operators and filmmakers alike are investing in premium formats that heighten the sensory impact of cinema. With its record-breaking screen and advanced technology, Allu Cinemas aims to position Hyderabad as a key destination for next-generation film exhibition in the region.
