Hardik Jhaveri has been appointed Senior Marketing Director at Colgate-Palmolive for the South ASEAN Hub, a role that will see him oversee operations across Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore and Brunei. The announcement was made through a LinkedIn post, where Jhaveri expressed gratitude to colleagues and mentors from his previous role at Hill’s Pet Nutrition. He acknowledged the support of Parul Patel, Desai Samir Singh and Aditya Singh for extending the opportunity, while also thanking Martin Schellert for his mentorship during his tenure at Hill’s.
Jhaveri’s career spans more than 15 years in marketing and brand management, with a strong focus on innovation and growth across the Asia-Pacific region. His professional journey reflects a blend of leadership, creativity and strategic execution, qualities that have defined his contributions to multinational companies. At Hill’s Pet Nutrition, he served as General Manager in Taiwan, where he led a high-performing team and managed full P&L responsibilities. Operating in a start-up-like environment within a global organisation, he demonstrated agility and entrepreneurial drive, balancing local market dynamics with the expectations of a multinational framework.
Prior to his role at Hill’s, Jhaveri had already built a significant track record at Colgate-Palmolive in APAC. As Associate Director of Innovation, he spearheaded new product development and launches across diverse markets. His work included pioneering oral care solutions tailored to specific consumer needs, such as a toothpaste designed for people with diabetes in India, and premium oral care experiences in Australia. These initiatives underscored his ability to combine scientific insight with consumer-centric innovation, positioning brands to meet evolving demands in competitive markets.
Jhaveri’s earlier career also includes roles at Unilever and Bates David Enterprise, where he gained experience in brand strategy, activations and marketing campaigns across multiple categories and regions. This breadth of exposure has equipped him with a nuanced understanding of consumer behaviour and brand positioning, skills that will be critical in his new role at Colgate-Palmolive’s South ASEAN Hub. His appointment reflects the company’s commitment to strengthening its leadership team in a region marked by diverse consumer preferences and rapid market growth.
In his LinkedIn post, Jhaveri described the new chapter as “exciting times ahead,” signalling his enthusiasm for the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead. His move comes at a time when global FMCG companies are increasingly focused on innovation, sustainability and digital engagement, areas where his expertise is expected to make a significant impact. With his blend of regional experience, strategic vision and proven leadership, Jhaveri is well positioned to drive growth and innovation for Colgate-Palmolive across South ASEAN.
