IDC has welcomed photographer Amber-Jayne Bain to its roster, enhancing its campaign photography offering. Bain’s work blends fine-art sensibility with commercial precision, marked by sensitivity to light and atmosphere. Her collaborative, human-led approach promises agencies and brands imagery that is both conceptually rich and emotionally resonant, aligning with IDC’s creative ethos.

IDC has announced the addition of photographer Amber-Jayne Bain to its roster, strengthening its offering to agencies and brands seeking distinctive, story-led photography for campaign work. Bain’s practice is defined by a rare dual perspective, balancing a strong commercial portfolio with a fine-art foundation shaped by her recently completed Master of Fine Arts. This combination results in work that marries conceptual depth with practical delivery, offering clients imagery that is both visually precise and emotionally resonant.

Her photography is characterised by a refined sensitivity to light, a strong sense of atmosphere, and an ability to capture people in ways that feel both honest and considered. Whether working in studio or on location, Bain’s approach blends technical precision with a natural, human-led perspective, making her a strong fit for campaigns that demand clarity and depth.

“We’re always looking at how we can better support agencies in delivering strong work under real-world conditions,” says Michele Richards-Berry, Agent and Producer at IDC. “Amber-Jayne brings a thoughtful, disciplined approach to her craft, combined with the technical confidence needed to execute across a range of brief and production environments. She’s a great fit and addition to the team and we’re very aligned in our approach.”

For agencies and brands, Bain’s arrival translates into imagery that goes beyond surface appeal, offering work that feels grounded, human, and relevant to contemporary audiences. Her philosophy is rooted in collaboration and authenticity. “I’m drawn to work that feels honest and collaborative,” Bain explains. “Photography for me is inherently relational. Projects that both forge and reveal connections between people and their contexts pull an emotional response from me that usually lands in the work. Being part of IDC means being able to contribute to projects where both creativity and the process are valued and where there’s a shared focus on making the work as strong as it can be.”

With Bain’s addition, IDC continues to expand its reputation as a trusted partner for agencies and brands seeking campaign photography that is not only technically accomplished but also emotionally compelling.
