Elephant Design has launched its Summer Beverage Campaign with Paper Boat Nata, coinciding with National Beverages Day. Built on visible refreshment, the packaging uses clear inclusions, juicy colours and expressive typography to convey flavour and playfulness. The design sparks curiosity, making the beverage instantly desirable in India’s evolving drinks market.

Elephant Design Pvt. Ltd. has launched its Summer Beverage Campaign with Paper Boat Nata, a move that coincides with National Beverages Day and signals a fresh chapter in India’s evolving drinks market. While the category already enjoys familiarity across parts of Asia, it remains relatively new to Indian consumers. The challenge was to make the experience instantly desirable without resorting to lengthy explanations, and Elephant’s creative solution was to let the packaging do the talking.

The design team built the system around the idea of visible refreshment. Clear inclusions, juicy colour palettes and expressive typography were carefully orchestrated to communicate texture, flavour and playfulness in a single glance. This approach ensures that the product sparks curiosity even before the first sip, inviting consumers to engage with the beverage as much through its visual identity as through its taste.

The campaign reflects Elephant’s ability to translate cultural insights into design language. By focusing on clarity and vibrancy, the packaging conveys a sense of immediacy—refreshment that can be seen and felt before it is consumed. In a market where storytelling often relies on heavy-handed messaging, the decision to let design cues carry the narrative feels both modern and intuitive.

Paper Boat Nata’s packaging is not just functional; it is a sensory invitation. The juicy hues suggest tropical indulgence, while the typography adds a playful rhythm that mirrors the lightness of summer. Together, these elements create a product that feels approachable yet distinctive, aligning with Paper Boat’s ethos of blending nostalgia with contemporary appeal.

Timed with National Beverages Day, the campaign also underscores the cultural significance of drinks as shared experiences. By positioning Paper Boat Nata as a beverage that is instantly desirable, Elephant Design taps into the celebratory spirit of the occasion, making the launch feel both timely and resonant.

Ultimately, the Summer Beverage Campaign is a testament to the power of design in shaping consumer perception. Elephant’s work demonstrates how packaging can transcend its utilitarian role to become a medium of storytelling, curiosity and delight. In doing so, it elevates Paper Boat Nata from a product into an experience—one that promises refreshment, playfulness and intrigue in equal measure.
