VaynerMedia Japan has appointed Yousuke Ozawa as Executive Creative Director, Nahoko Yokota as Strategy Director, and Chiori Suzuki as Account Director. Effective immediately, the trio brings expertise in creative, premium brand strategy, and digital entertainment, reinforcing the agency’s operations as it responds to growing demand for modern, attention-driven marketing in Japan.
VaynerMedia Japan has announced a significant expansion of its leadership team with the appointment of Yousuke Ozawa as Executive Creative Director, Nahoko Yokota as Strategy Director, and Chiori Suzuki as Account Director. The appointments, effective immediately, were confirmed on 9 June and mark a decisive step in strengthening the agency’s creative, media, and consulting operations in Japan.
Ozawa brings two decades of experience across leading agencies including Havas, Weber Shandwick, Ogilvy, Dentsu, and most recently UltraSuperNew, where he spent over five years. His career highlights include leading creative for more than 40 global and domestic brands and earning over 50 international awards. His appointment underscores VaynerMedia’s ambition to deepen its creative footprint in Japan’s competitive advertising landscape.
Yokota joins from the Swatch Group, where she built her expertise over 14 years in premium brand building and consumer behaviour. Her strategic insight into luxury and lifestyle markets is expected to enhance VaynerMedia’s ability to craft campaigns that resonate with Japan’s discerning audiences.
Suzuki adds a strong digital entertainment and e-commerce background, having managed branding and creative at Hulu Japan for more than five years, followed by another five years overseeing creative production at Amazon Imaging. Her experience positions her to drive integrated campaigns that connect with consumers across digital platforms and retail ecosystems.
The appointments reflect VaynerMedia’s commitment to investing in senior talent capable of navigating Japan’s evolving marketing environment.
