Solestra Group and Jeh Aerospace have inaugurated a Global Manufacturing Centre in Hyderabad, reinforcing Telangana’s position as a hub for aerospace innovation. The facility will drive new product introduction, industrialisation, and precision manufacturing, strengthening India’s role in global aerospace supply chains and advancing the state’s vision of next-generation industrial growth.

Telangana’s ambition to position itself as a global hub for advanced manufacturing and aerospace innovation has received a significant boost with the inauguration of a Global Manufacturing Centre (GMC) in Hyderabad. The facility, established through a multi-year strategic partnership between North America’s Solestra Group and India’s Jeh Aerospace, marks a milestone in the state’s industrial journey.

Located within Jeh Aerospace’s Hyderabad facility, the GMC is designed to serve as a critical hub for New Product Introduction (NPI), industrialisation, capacity expansion, and precision manufacturing. By consolidating these functions under one roof, the centre aims to accelerate delivery timelines, enhance quality standards, and provide a single point of accountability across the aerospace value chain. This integrated approach is expected to strengthen customer confidence and enable global competitiveness.

The collaboration between Solestra Group and Jeh Aerospace reflects a broader trend of international companies partnering with Indian firms to leverage the country’s engineering talent, infrastructure, and cost efficiencies. Hyderabad, in particular, has emerged as a preferred destination for aerospace and defence manufacturing, thanks to its robust ecosystem of engineering firms, advanced manufacturing units, and defence suppliers. The city’s reputation is further bolstered by supportive state policies, world-class industrial parks, and a skilled workforce trained in cutting-edge technologies.

For Telangana, the GMC represents more than just an industrial investment. It is a strategic step towards realising the state’s vision of becoming a global hub for high-value engineering and next-generation industrial growth. By strengthening local manufacturing capabilities and fostering international partnerships, the state is creating a platform for innovation that can serve both domestic and global markets.

Industry experts note that the GMC will play a pivotal role in enabling India to meet rising global demand for aerospace solutions. Precision manufacturing and rapid industrialisation are critical for sectors such as defence aviation, commercial aerospace, and space exploration, where quality and reliability are non-negotiable. The centre’s focus on NPI also ensures that new technologies and designs can be industrialised quickly, reducing the time-to-market for innovative products.

The investment by Solestra Group and Jeh Aerospace also underscores Hyderabad’s growing importance in the global aerospace supply chain. With India’s aerospace and defence sector projected to expand significantly in the coming decade, facilities like the GMC will be instrumental in ensuring that the country not only meets domestic requirements but also becomes a trusted supplier to international markets.

As Telangana continues to attract global industry leaders, the GMC stands as a symbol of the state’s commitment to fostering innovation, building industrial capacity, and advancing self-reliance in strategic sectors. For Solestra Group and Jeh Aerospace, it represents a long-term bet on India’s potential to shape the future of aerospace manufacturing.
