HDFC Bank has announced the promotion of Himika Gupta to Assistant Vice President (AVP) – Brand, marking a significant milestone in her career. Gupta shared the news on LinkedIn, reflecting on her professional journey and acknowledging the support of her mentors and colleagues.
In her new role, Gupta will continue to strengthen the bank’s brand function, leveraging her expertise across brand management, consumer insights, business strategy and innovation. She emphasised that her work in recent years has focused on creating business impact while delivering meaningful value to customers.
“Excited to share that I’ve been promoted to AVP – Brand at HDFC Bank. Over the past few years, I’ve had the opportunity to expand beyond brand management into consumer insights, business strategy and innovative programs—driving work that delivers both business impact and meaningful customer value,” Gupta wrote in her LinkedIn post.
She also expressed heartfelt gratitude to her seniors Abhilasha Mathur, Ashish Morone and Ravi Santhanam, noting their role in guiding and challenging her to think bigger. “A heartfelt thank you to my seniors… for believing in me, challenging me to think bigger, and giving me the guidance, trust and confidence to grow every step of the way. Grateful for this milestone and excited for the journey ahead,” she added.
Before joining HDFC Bank, Gupta held roles at Kinnect and Dentsu Webchutney, where she gained valuable experience in digital marketing and brand strategy.
