Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera has unveiled the Veloce12 Aperta, an open‑top evolution of its Ferrari 550 Maranello‑based grand tourer. Featuring removable targa roof panels, a naturally aspirated V12 and six‑speed gated manual, the coachbuilt model blends classic Italian design with modern engineering, offering collectors a luxurious analogue driving experience rooted in heritage.

Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera has introduced the Veloce12 Aperta, a striking open‑top grand tourer that places analogue driving enjoyment firmly at its core. Based on Ferrari’s celebrated 550 Maranello platform, the Aperta combines timeless Italian styling with modern craftsmanship, offering a rare blend of tradition and innovation.

The car’s removable targa‑style roof panels invite open‑air motoring, while its naturally aspirated 5.5‑litre V12 delivers 503 horsepower through a six‑speed gated manual transmission. This mechanical purity underscores Touring’s philosophy: a grand tourer designed for spirited weekend escapes rather than chasing lap times.

The coachbuilt body is a showcase of artistry and engineering. Carbon‑fibre construction ensures strength and lightness, adaptive suspension provides comfort and control, and bespoke detailing elevates every surface. Inspired by the Touring‑bodied Maserati 3500 GT of the 1960s, the launch specification pairs an Alba White exterior with a richly appointed burgundy‑and‑cream interior. Even the luggage compartment has been tailored to accommodate custom Rimowa cases and handcrafted leather travel accessories, reinforcing the car’s role as a companion for journeys rather than a machine for circuits.

The Veloce12 Aperta represents Touring Superleggera’s enduring commitment to preserving the analogue grand touring experience. By combining open‑air freedom, classic design cues and one of Ferrari’s last naturally aspirated V12 platforms, it offers collectors a highly exclusive interpretation of Maranello’s golden era. In a world increasingly defined by electrification and digitalisation, the Aperta stands as a reminder that true luxury lies in the tactile connection between driver, machine and road.
