Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM) is set to host the 2026 edition of its flagship conference Beyond Tomorrow on 11 August at Digital Hub, Kochi. Launched in 2024, the initiative has quickly become a cornerstone for Kerala’s creative economy, bringing together startups, creators, media professionals, educators, policymakers, and investors. The event will open with an inaugural session featuring Anoop Ambika, CEO of Kerala Startup Mission, alongside Seeram Sambasiva Rao IAS, Special Secretary (E & ITD) and Chairman of KSITM, and Sanjoy K. Roy, Co-chair of FICCI’s Tourism & Culture Committee. Subsequent panels will delve into cinema and creative industries, publishing and digital media, and the evolving creator economy. Notable speakers include Jayant Mathew, Executive Editor of Malayala Manorama; Devika M S, Director of Operations at Mathrubhumi; Dr C. S. Venkiteswaran, film critic and documentary filmmaker; and Firoz Merchant, Co-founder of Phenomenal AI and Festival Director of the India AI Film Awards.

The programme will highlight how AI is enabling new forms of artistic expression, redefining marketing strategies, and reshaping journalism and publishing. It will also address the ethical and creative implications of machine-driven storytelling, offering a platform for dialogue between technologists and cultural leaders.

By convening diverse stakeholders, Beyond Tomorrow aims to position Kerala as a hub for creative innovation in the AI era. The conference underscores the state’s commitment to nurturing a vibrant ecosystem where technology and creativity intersect, ensuring that Kerala’s cultural industries remain future-ready.
