Publicis Digital Experience (PDX) India, part of Publicis Groupe India, has announced the appointment of Prashant Sukhwani as Managing Partner, Social. In his new role, Sukhwani will lead Social @ PDX India, working with brands across social, creators, content, search and performance, reinforcing the agency’s integrated digital-first approach.
Sukhwani will collaborate closely with Amaresh Godbole, CEO of PDX India and Chief AI Experiences & Solutions at Publicis Groupe India, to strengthen the agency’s social capabilities and drive innovation-led brand engagement. His appointment underscores PDX India’s ambition to deepen its expertise in social and performance marketing, a space increasingly critical to modern brand building.
Bringing more than 16 years of marketing experience, Sukhwani joins PDX India from Burger King India, where he most recently served as Vice President, Marketing. At Burger King, he played a pivotal role in advancing the brand’s digital transformation, overseeing initiatives across brand, content, media, CRM and performance marketing. He also spearheaded efforts to strengthen the QSR brand’s first-party data capabilities, a move that positioned Burger King India to better understand and engage with its consumers in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
Prior to Burger King, Sukhwani held marketing roles at ITC and Bunge, gaining extensive experience across brand management, digital strategy and integrated marketing communications. His career trajectory reflects a strong grounding in both traditional and digital marketing, equipping him with the versatility to navigate the complexities of today’s fragmented media environment.
Industry observers note that his appointment comes at a time when brands are increasingly seeking to harness the power of social platforms, creator ecosystems and performance-driven campaigns to achieve measurable outcomes. With Sukhwani at the helm of Social @ PDX India, the agency is expected to sharpen its focus on delivering culturally resonant, data-driven and platform-native solutions for clients.
Commenting on his new role, Sukhwani emphasised his commitment to building impactful social-first strategies that not only drive engagement but also deliver tangible business results. His leadership is anticipated to further strengthen PDX India’s position as a partner of choice for brands navigating the intersection of creativity, technology and performance.
The appointment also reflects Publicis Groupe India’s broader strategy of investing in specialised leadership to accelerate growth across its digital experience offerings. As the marketing landscape continues to evolve, Sukhwani’s expertise in integrating brand storytelling with performance marketing is expected to play a crucial role in shaping PDX India’s next phase of growth.
