Federal Bank’s latest Diwali film, ‘Chhoti Koshishein, Badi Khushiyan’, uses the tiny world of ants to convey a heartwarming message about collective effort and shared happiness. Conceptualised and scripted by Storytellers Union, the film blends festive storytelling with creative execution, celebrating how little contributions can make a big difference.
A world of tiny ants, a festive atmosphere and a simple yet powerful message about the value of collective effort form the heart of Federal Bank’s latest Diwali campaign, titled ‘Chhoti Koshishein, Badi Khushiyan’.
Moving away from conventional festive advertising, the film explores how even the smallest contributions can come together to create something meaningful. Through the imaginative world of ants, it delivers a warm reminder that big happiness often begins with little efforts.
The film uses the familiar festive spirit of Diwali to communicate a message of togetherness, cooperation and shared joy. Its central idea is that individual efforts, however small they may appear, can collectively achieve something much bigger.
The campaign was conceptualised and scripted by Storytellers Union and brought to life under its banner. The team expressed gratitude to Popkon Creatives for providing the opportunity and placing its trust in the project.
Popkon Creatives led the agency side of the campaign, with Ratheesh Menon as agency head and Manila Manohar as account manager.
Gokul Pillai directed the film, with Sarvesh as writer and Shine Naushad as producer. Praseedha Pradeep served as creative producer, while Bibin Sebastian handled digital cinematography and art direction. Sanjay K Joseph was the co-director.
The production also brought together artificial intelligence (AI), computer-generated imagery (CGI) and conventional post-production techniques. Muhammad Rasal R served as AI, CGI and post producer, with Abhiram S as AI artist. Sreeraj edited the film, while Nezer Ahmed was responsible for music and sound design. Dawn B Johns handled colour grading (DI), and Dinson David worked on graphics.
By placing tiny characters at the centre of a larger festive narrative, the film demonstrates how imaginative storytelling can turn a simple idea into an engaging brand communication. Its message resonates with the spirit of Diwali, celebrating the happiness that emerges when small efforts come together.
