GAIA, a new three-day nature-led festival, will take place from 22 to 24 January 2027 at GAJ Resort in Punjab. Blending music, wellness, art and outdoor experiences, the event will offer daytime activities and evening performances, culminating in an all-night musical finale that continues until sunrise.
A new festival celebrating the connection between people, nature and creativity is set to arrive in Punjab early next year, promising three immersive days of music, wellness, art and community in a natural setting.
GAIA, a nature-led festival taking place from 22 to 24 January 2027 at GAJ Resort, aims to create an experience that unfolds continuously from morning through to the early hours, bringing together a diverse programme designed to appeal to festival-goers seeking more than traditional live music events.
Set within the grounds of the resort, the festival will offer a carefully curated blend of wellness activities, artistic expression and musical performances across its three-day programme. Organisers say the event is designed to encourage guests to slow down, reconnect with nature and engage with a range of experiences that extend beyond the stage.
Each day will begin with wellness-focused sessions including yoga, breathwork and movement practices, giving attendees the opportunity to start their mornings with activities aimed at relaxation and personal wellbeing. Throughout the afternoons, visitors will also be able to participate in wellness workshops, explore interactive art installations and enjoy live performances spread across the festival site.
Alongside the scheduled programming, guests will have access to the Wild Bazaar, a dedicated space featuring vendors and experiences, as well as a variety of festival food options. The organisers hope these areas will provide opportunities for visitors to discover new ideas, connect with fellow attendees and spend unstructured time exploring the festival environment.
As the day transitions into evening, GAIA’s atmosphere is set to evolve. Live performances and daytime music sessions will gradually give way to electronic music and dance-focused programming, creating a distinctly different energy after sunset. The event’s organisers have positioned this shift as one of the festival’s defining features, allowing guests to experience contrasting moods across a single day.
The musical journey will reach its peak on the festival’s final night, when performances will continue through the night and into first light, offering attendees the chance to welcome the sunrise as the event draws to a close.
Recognising the varying ways people may wish to experience the festival, organisers have introduced several attendance options. Visitors can choose a single-day ticket, a three-day festival pass, or opt for a residential package that allows them to remain on site for the duration of the event.
The residential offering includes accommodation at GAJ Resort or within specially designated GAIA Bedouin Tents. Packages also come with two three-day festival passes, creating an option for couples, friends or travelling companions to enjoy the complete experience together.
With growing demand for events that combine wellbeing, cultural experiences and music in natural surroundings, GAIA hopes to establish itself as a distinctive addition to India’s festival calendar. By bringing together wellness practices, artistic exploration and late-night musical programming in a single destination, the festival is positioning itself as more than an event, but a temporary community centred on connection, creativity and the outdoors.
