BBH India has announced the appointment of Deb Dutta as Executive Director & Head of Office, Mumbai, marking a significant addition to its leadership team. Dutta will report to Himanshu Saxena, Managing Director, BBH India and President (North & East), Saatchi & Saatchi India and Propagate India. His mandate includes accelerating business growth, deepening client relationships, and reinforcing the agency’s culture of creative excellence, effectiveness, and transformation.
Dutta brings more than 20 years of experience in agency leadership, brand management, and strategic transformation. He joins BBH India from McCann, where he served as Head of McCann Worldgroup Mumbai, overseeing operations and creative output for one of the network’s key offices. His career spans multiple markets across Asia, with leadership roles at RAPP Malaysia, TBWA Indonesia, Publicis Malaysia, and Publicis Indonesia.
At RAPP Malaysia, Dutta was instrumental in building a full-stack creative company by integrating capabilities across content, eCRM, personalisation, digital, social, and technology solutions, all powered by data and analytics. His ability to combine creativity with technology-driven insights positioned the agency as a forward-thinking player in the region. He also held a key leadership role at Publicis Groupe India in 2008, further strengthening his ties to the Indian advertising landscape.
The appointment underscores BBH India’s commitment to strengthening its leadership bench and driving innovation-led growth in one of its most important markets.
