CaratLane has launched a campaign film for its Kaashika collection, inspired by the cultural and architectural heritage of Kashi. Shot across Banaras, the film blends contemporary jewellery design with the evocative track ‘Tum Tak’, weaving nostalgia, romance and place into visuals that highlight Uttar Pradesh as a key market.

CaratLane has unveiled a new campaign film for its Kaashika collection, a line of contemporary jewellery crafted in 14KT gold and natural diamonds. Drawing inspiration from the cultural richness and architectural heritage of Kashi, the film positions Banaras not merely as a backdrop but as the soul of the narrative.

At the heart of the campaign lies the track Tum Tak, a song deeply tied to the essence of Varanasi. Its inclusion elevates the storytelling, infusing the film with nostalgia, romance and emotional depth. The music anchors the visuals in a sense of place, ensuring that the jewellery designs resonate with the city’s timeless character.

The film captures Banaras through intimate and textured visuals, shot across its streets, gullies, ghats and temples. Everyday life in the city becomes part of the narrative, reflecting CaratLane’s intent to connect jewellery design with lived experiences. The Kaashika collection itself mirrors this ethos, translating the grandeur of Kashi’s architectural motifs into wearable art.

By focusing on Uttar Pradesh as a key market, CaratLane underscores its ambition to strengthen ties with a region where jewellery is deeply intertwined with tradition and celebration. The campaign highlights how contemporary design can coexist with heritage, appealing to consumers who value both modern aesthetics and cultural authenticity.

The Kaashika film is not simply a showcase of jewellery but a tribute to Banaras. Its layered storytelling, enriched by music and visuals, reflects CaratLane’s strategy of embedding emotional resonance into brand communication. In doing so, the campaign positions the brand as one that honours heritage while offering designs suited to today’s sensibilities.
