GAURAV HAZRATI APPOINTED BUSINESS HEAD AT INDIGO

IndiGo has appointed Gaurav Hazrati as Business Head to lead IndiGo BluChip, its travel marketplace and financial services businesses. With 18 years of experience across loyalty and financial services, including leadership roles at Tata Digital and IndusInd Bank, Hazrati will drive IndiGo’s diversification into consumer platforms beyond aviation.

IndiGo has announced the appointment of Gaurav Hazrati as Business Head, tasked with leading IndiGo BluChip, the airline’s travel marketplace and financial services businesses. The move underscores IndiGo’s ambition to expand beyond aviation into consumer platforms that integrate loyalty, marketplace and financial services for its growing customer base.  

Hazrati brings with him over 18 years of experience across loyalty and financial services. Before joining IndiGo, he served as Chief Executive Officer and Director of Tata Payments, President – Financial Services at Tata Digital, and as a Non-Executive Director on the board of Tata Fintech. At Tata Digital, he was part of the founding leadership team, playing a pivotal role in launching and scaling the group’s loyalty and financial services businesses across payments, credit cards, lending, insurance and investment products.  

Earlier in his career, Hazrati was part of the founding team at Axis Direct, the broking arm of Axis Bank, where he helped establish the business. He later held senior leadership roles at IndusInd Bank, working across digital banking, payments, investments and lending. His career trajectory reflects a consistent focus on building and scaling consumer-facing financial services platforms, making him well-placed to drive IndiGo’s next phase of diversification.
