Baileys has unveiled a Limited Edition Gingerbread Chocolate flavour across Germany, Austria and Switzerland from September, partnering with Wicklein, Germany’s oldest gingerbread maker. The festive collaboration combines Baileys with Lebkuchen, offering a playful Perfect Serve with Wicklein’s Tassenwichtel to spark gatherings and early seasonal celebrations.

Christmas spirit is arriving early across the DACH region as Baileys launches its Limited Edition Gingerbread Chocolate flavour, a festive twist designed to capture the warmth and indulgence of the season. Available from September, the new edition brings together two beloved icons of celebration: Baileys and Lebkuchen.

The collaboration with Wicklein, Germany’s oldest gingerbread manufacturer, adds cultural depth and authenticity to the release. Wicklein’s heritage in crafting Lebkuchen, a staple of festive tables across Germany, Austria and Switzerland, makes the partnership a natural fit. By blending Baileys’ signature cream liqueur with the spiced richness of gingerbread chocolate, the edition promises to deliver a taste that is both nostalgic and innovative.

Beyond flavour, the partnership is activating a playful ritual through Wicklein’s Tassenwichtel, a whimsical gingerbread character designed to accompany the Perfect Serve. This creative addition encourages consumers to gather, host and enjoy the spirit of the season in a way that feels both traditional and fresh. The Tassenwichtel transforms the serve into an occasion, offering a delicious reason to start celebrating early.

The launch reflects Baileys’ ongoing strategy of aligning with cultural moments and festive traditions, ensuring its presence at the heart of seasonal gatherings. By introducing the Gingerbread Chocolate flavour ahead of the holidays, Baileys taps into the anticipation that defines the run-up to Christmas, positioning itself as a catalyst for joy and togetherness.

Germany, Austria and Switzerland provide fertile ground for this edition, with Lebkuchen deeply embedded in festive culture. The partnership with Wicklein not only honours this tradition but also reimagines it for contemporary audiences, blending heritage with modern indulgence. The result is a product that resonates across generations, appealing to those who cherish tradition while embracing new experiences.

With its rich flavour profile, cultural authenticity and playful activation, Baileys Gingerbread Chocolate Limited Edition is set to become a highlight of the festive season in the DACH region. It embodies the essence of celebration, offering consumers a chance to savour the taste of Christmas long before the first snow falls.
