Arvind Fashions Ltd has announced the appointment of Amisha Jain as its next Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, effective August 13, 2025, for a five-year term. The move signals a carefully planned leadership transition as Shailesh Chaturvedi, the current MD & CEO, prepares to conclude his tenure on January 31, 2026, after five years at the helm.

Currently serving as Managing Director and Senior Vice President for South Asia, Middle East, Africa, and Eastern Europe at Levi Strauss, Jain brings with her a robust portfolio of global leadership across the consumer, retail, and technology sectors. During her tenure at Levi’s, she played a pivotal role in accelerating India’s growth trajectory, steering the brand to consistent double-digit growth, and reinforcing its dominance in the denim and broader fashion apparel market.

Jain’s appointment is seen as a decisive step by Arvind Fashions to deepen its capabilities in brand building, customer experience, and digital-led growth. She is widely known for her strategic vision and customer-first approach, attributes that powered her success as CEO of Zivame, where she repositioned the brand as a leader in the intimatewear and loungewear categories.

A seasoned professional, Jain holds an MBA from INSEAD and has previously worked with McKinsey & Company. Her past stints span across marquee global and Indian brands, including Arvind Group, Nike India, and Motorola, giving her a unique edge in navigating the complexities of both multinational and homegrown retail ecosystems.

As Chaturvedi completes his tenure in early 2026, he leaves behind a legacy of portfolio optimization and operational streamlining. His leadership has been instrumental in recalibrating Arvind Fashions’ brand mix, ensuring a stronger focus on high-growth, high-margin segments.

The early announcement of Jain’s appointment is expected to ensure a seamless leadership handover, positioning Arvind Fashions for continued momentum in an increasingly competitive landscape. With India’s fashion retail sector rebounding post-pandemic and digital innovation reshaping the consumer experience, Jain’s blended expertise in traditional and new-age retail is expected to be a key growth lever.

Home to some of the country’s most prominent lifestyle and fashion brands—including US Polo Assn., Arrow, Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein, and Flying Machine—Arvind Fashions has undergone strategic restructuring in recent years to sharpen its focus and drive sustainable growth.

The company noted that the transition is subject to shareholder approval and other applicable regulatory clearances.
