LT Foods has appointed Ritesh Sud as Chief Marketing Officer, tasking him with leading marketing strategy, brand building, and growth initiatives. With experience at Tata Consumer Products and Perfetti Van Melle, Sud brings strong FMCG expertise to strengthen market presence and deepen consumer engagement across the company’s diverse portfolio.

In a move aimed at accelerating its marketing ambitions and strengthening its position in the competitive FMCG landscape, LT Foods has appointed Ritesh Sud as its new Chief Marketing Officer. The appointment signals the company’s intent to sharpen its brand narrative, expand consumer connect, and drive sustained growth across its portfolio.

Sud steps into the role with a mandate to lead the company’s overall marketing strategy, spearhead brand-building efforts, and execute growth-focused initiatives. His leadership is expected to play a pivotal role in enhancing the company’s market presence while deepening engagement with consumers in both established and emerging segments.

Bringing with him a wealth of experience in fast-moving consumer goods marketing, Sud most recently served at Tata Consumer Products, where he was responsible for marketing key national beverage brands and overseeing the ready-to-drink portfolio. His tenure there was marked by a strong focus on brand positioning and innovation, helping to reinforce category leadership in a highly competitive space.

Prior to this, Sud spent more than a decade at Perfetti Van Melle, where he managed a portfolio of well-known confectionery brands, including Alpenliebe, Centerfruit, and Happydent. During his time with the company, he was closely involved in driving innovation-led growth strategies, strengthening brand equity, and adapting to evolving consumer preferences in India’s dynamic confectionery market.

Sud’s professional journey began at Wipro, where he built a strong foundation in sales and marketing. This early experience helped shape his understanding of market dynamics and consumer behaviour, laying the groundwork for his subsequent leadership roles in the FMCG sector.

Industry observers note that Sud’s blend of strategic insight and hands-on brand management experience positions him well to guide LT Foods through its next phase of growth. As the company looks to expand its footprint and reinforce its relevance among modern consumers, his expertise in category development and brand storytelling is expected to be a key asset.

The appointment comes at a time when FMCG companies are investing more in differentiated marketing and consumer-focused innovation to stay ahead in a rapidly changing marketplace. With Sud at the helm of its marketing function, LT Foods appears poised to strengthen its competitive edge while building deeper, more meaningful connections with its audiences.
