LVMH NAMES YANN MUSQUIN CEO OF FRAGRANCE BRANDS

LVMH has appointed Yann Musquin as Chief Executive of LVMH Fragrance Brands, effective 3 August 2026. Reporting to Véronique Courtois, he will lead Givenchy Parfums and Kenzo Parfums, succeeding Romain Spitzer. Musquin’s extensive beauty sector experience positions him to drive growth and creative strategy across LVMH’s key fragrance houses.

French luxury conglomerate LVMH has appointed Yann Musquin as Chief Executive of LVMH Fragrance Brands, effective 3 August 2026. Reporting directly to Véronique Courtois, Chair and CEO of Parfums Christian Dior and head of LVMH’s beauty division, Musquin will oversee the strategic expansion and brand desirability of Givenchy Parfums and Kenzo Parfums.  

He succeeds Romain Spitzer, who recently departed the group to become Chief Executive Officer at Bottega Veneta, part of rival luxury house Kering. Musquin’s appointment underscores LVMH’s commitment to strengthening its fragrance portfolio at a time when competition in the luxury beauty sector is intensifying.  

With extensive executive leadership experience across the beauty and fragrance industries, Musquin is expected to bring both commercial acumen and creative vision to the role. His mandate includes driving growth, enhancing global positioning, and ensuring that LVMH’s perfume houses continue to resonate with consumers in an evolving market.  

The move reflects LVMH’s broader strategy of reinforcing its leadership in luxury beauty, where fragrance remains a cornerstone of brand identity and consumer engagement. Givenchy and Kenzo, each with distinctive heritages and aesthetics, are seen as critical to the group’s ambitions of balancing tradition with innovation.  

Industry observers note that Musquin’s leadership will be pivotal in shaping the next phase of LVMH’s fragrance journey, particularly as the company seeks to deepen its influence in both established and emerging markets. His appointment signals continuity in LVMH’s pursuit of excellence, while also opening the door to fresh creative interpretations that could redefine the appeal of its perfume houses.
