Practo has appointed marketing veteran Kunal Dubey as Senior VP – Global Head of Brand & Content. With 19 years of experience across leading consumer tech brands like Flipkart, PhonePe, Wakefit and Cleartrip, he is expected to drive Practo’s next phase of brand storytelling, trust-building and global expansion.

Practo has announced the appointment of seasoned marketing strategist Kunal Dubey as its Senior Vice President – Global Head of Brand & Content, a move that signals a renewed thrust on brand-building and consumer engagement for the digital healthcare leader. With nearly two decades of experience, including over 13 years across high-growth consumer tech companies, Dubey brings with him a distinguished portfolio shaped at some of India’s most influential brands.

Over 19 years in marketing and strategy, Dubey has played key roles in scaling and positioning brands such as Wakefit, Flipkart, PhonePe, Cleartrip, Vedantu, McDonald’s India, and eBay India — driving storytelling-led growth and consumer trust in highly competitive categories. His expertise spans brand identity, digital content ecosystems, integrated marketing, and experience-led growth.

At Practo, his mandate will be crucial at a time when consumer trust, brand distinctiveness, and holistic healthcare narratives are becoming central to India’s evolving digital health economy. The company is betting on Dubey to further strengthen its brand voice globally — not just as a platform for online consultations and hospital search, but as a complete health partner guiding patients through preventive, primary, and chronic care journeys.

Industry watchers see this as a strategic step towards scaling Practo’s global presence and expanding its storytelling beyond utility to emotional relevance — especially as consumer expectations from digital health platforms mature post-pandemic. Dubey’s past experience building enduring, culturally loved brands is expected to infuse fresh energy, youth relevance, and unified storytelling across Practo’s growing portfolio.

“We’re excited to welcome Kunal on board and can’t wait to see the new energy and ideas he brings to Practo’s brand journey,” the company said in its announcement.

For Dubey, this marks a return to a sector that sits at the intersection of technology, trust, and human impact — a space where brand experience has become as critical as product innovation.
