TARUN MANGAL JOINS MG MOTOR INDIA AS SENIOR MANAGER – DIGITAL MARKETING

MG Motor India has appointed Tarun Mangal as senior manager – digital marketing. Based in Gurugram, he will lead consumer engagement, brand visibility and digital campaigns. Mangal moves from Apollo Tyres, bringing over 11 years of experience across Mercedes-Benz India, Kia India and Honda Cars India to strengthen MG’s digital presence.

MG Motor India has strengthened its marketing leadership with the appointment of Tarun Mangal as senior manager – digital marketing. In his new role, Mangal will spearhead the company’s digital initiatives, focusing on consumer engagement, brand visibility and the execution of impactful campaigns across online platforms.  

Mangal joins MG Motor India from Apollo Tyres, where he served as digital marketing manager. His career spans more than 11 years in the automotive sector, with significant stints at Mercedes-Benz India, Kia India and Honda Cars India. This breadth of experience positions him to bring a nuanced understanding of digital transformation in the industry.  

Based in Gurugram, Mangal will oversee MG Motor India’s social media marketing strategy, ensuring that the brand continues to connect meaningfully with its growing consumer base. His remit also includes supporting customer engagement initiatives across digital platforms, a critical area as automotive brands increasingly rely on digital ecosystems to build loyalty and drive growth.  

The appointment reflects MG Motor India’s commitment to enhancing its digital-first approach, aligning with evolving consumer behaviour and the broader industry shift towards technology-driven marketing. Mangal’s expertise in managing digital campaigns and brand storytelling is expected to play a pivotal role in reinforcing MG’s positioning in a competitive market.
