Tory Burch LLC has appointed Klitos Teklos as Chief Brand Officer, a newly created role underscoring the brand’s commitment to long-term growth and customer engagement. Teklos will lead global brand strategy, overseeing marketing, social media, and visual merchandising, working closely with Tory Burch, CEO Pierre-Yves Roussel, and Creative Director Honor Brodie.

Tory Burch LLC has announced the appointment of Klitos Teklos as its new Chief Brand Officer, marking a significant step in the company’s evolution. The role, created to strengthen the brand’s focus on long-term growth and customer engagement, reflects the increasing importance of uniting creativity, strategy, and customer experience under one cohesive vision.

Teklos will be responsible for leading the global brand strategy, with oversight of visual merchandising, social media, and global marketing. His remit places him at the centre of the brand’s efforts to deepen consumer connections and sharpen its positioning in an increasingly competitive luxury fashion landscape. He will collaborate closely with founder Tory Burch, Chief Executive Officer Pierre-Yves Roussel, and Creative Director Honor Brodie, ensuring that the creative and strategic elements of the business are seamlessly aligned.

The appointment signals Tory Burch’s recognition of the need for a dedicated leadership role that bridges creative innovation with strategic brand building. By consolidating these functions under Teklos, the company aims to create a unified approach to storytelling, consumer engagement, and market expansion. This move is particularly timely as luxury brands face heightened expectations from consumers who demand both authenticity and innovation in their experiences with fashion houses.

Pierre-Yves Roussel emphasised the significance of Teklos’s appointment, noting that the role will be pivotal in driving the brand’s next phase of growth. With Tory Burch continuing to shape the creative vision and Honor Brodie leading design, Teklos’s leadership in brand strategy is expected to provide the connective tissue that ensures consistency across all consumer touchpoints.

For Tory Burch, the creation of the Chief Brand Officer role underscores the brand’s ambition to strengthen its global presence while remaining true to its distinctive identity. Teklos’s expertise will be instrumental in balancing the demands of creative excellence with the rigour of strategic execution, ensuring that the brand continues to resonate with diverse audiences worldwide.

This appointment reflects a broader trend within the fashion industry, where brands are increasingly recognising the value of integrating creative leadership with strategic brand management. By placing Teklos at the helm of this effort, Tory Burch is positioning itself to navigate the complexities of global consumer engagement while reinforcing its commitment to innovation and growth.
