Kanye West, now known as Ye, has confirmed his long-speculated debut in India with a concert at New Delhi’s Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium on 29 March 2026. The announcement comes amid his turbulent public journey, marked by controversy, ji reinvention, and a recent public apology for past remarks.

The long-awaited confirmation of Ye’s India debut has electrified fans and industry watchers alike. Scheduled for 29 March 2026 at New Delhi’s Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, the performance marks a significant moment in the rapper-producer’s global touring calendar.

Ye’s announcement arrives at a time when his public narrative has been as much about controversy as artistry. Over the past two years, the 24-time Grammy winner has issued provocative statements, released divisive material, and sparked global debate. In late January 2026, he published a full-page apology in The Wall Street Journal, addressing antisemitic remarks and acknowledging periods of “losing touch with reality” amid untreated bipolar disorder.

That apology, and the conversations it generated, have become central to Ye’s current story. His name continues to dominate headlines not only for his music but also for the cultural debates he ignites. Despite the turbulence, demand for his live performances remains strong, reflecting his enduring yet polarising appeal.

In recent weeks, Ye has confirmed major European stadium dates, including a 6 June show at the Gelredome in the Netherlands—his first large-scale European performance in over a decade. The New Delhi concert now adds India to his global itinerary, signalling both artistic reinvention and a renewed attempt to reconnect with audiences worldwide.

For Indian fans, the March performance will be more than just a concert; it will be a cultural moment, placing Ye’s complex journey on one of the country’s biggest stages.
