A seasoned consultant and transformation architect, Chava brings nearly two decades of global expertise. His mandate spans operational excellence, digital and cloud transformation, and scaling strategy implementations, reinforcing Wipro’s consulting leadership across international markets.

Wipro Consulting has announced the appointment of Ramakrishna Chava as Chief Operating Officer, effective 1 July 2026. The move marks a significant leadership elevation within the company’s global consulting arm, positioning Chava to oversee operations and delivery frameworks at a time when enterprise transformation and digital acceleration remain central to client priorities worldwide.

Chava’s career trajectory reflects a blend of elite consulting pedigree and hands-on leadership across technology and business transformation. Having served as Senior Partner for Strategy & Transformation at Wipro, he has been instrumental in shaping cross-functional initiatives and driving operational excellence. His promotion to the C-suite underscores Wipro’s confidence in his ability to scale high-impact strategies and strengthen delivery architectures across diverse international markets.

Prior to his tenure at Wipro, Chava spent nearly a decade at Accenture, rising to the role of Managing Director. His consulting journey began at Accenture Management Consulting in India, where he honed his expertise in enterprise strategy and systemic turnaround. He later held a leadership role as Vice President at JustLikeNew.In, further diversifying his portfolio in commercial growth and operational optimisation.

Chava’s professional foundation was laid at Larsen & Toubro, where he managed hyper-scale fuel infrastructure projects as a Project Engineer. This early exposure to large-scale engineering challenges has informed his approach to orchestrating complex, cross-border resources and delivering transformative outcomes.

Widely recognised across IT, software services, and strategic advisory circles, Chava is celebrated as a definitive authority on enterprise transformation and operational turnaround. His appointment as COO signals Wipro’s intent to deepen its consulting impact, accelerate digital and cloud capabilities, and reinforce its standing as a trusted partner in global business transformation.
