HH SHEIKH MOHAMMED LAUNCHES ‘DUBAI-IT’ TO INSPIRE FUTURE GENERATIONS

HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has launched Dubai-it, a new initiative to pass on Dubai’s philosophy of work to future generations. Emphasising speed, precision, and excellence, the programme aims to reinforce the principles behind Dubai’s rapid development and ensure ambition translates into execution and global competitiveness.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has unveiled a new initiative titled Dubai-it, designed to instil Dubai’s philosophy of work in future generations and reinforce the principles that have driven the emirate’s rapid development and global competitiveness.  

Announcing the programme today, Sheikh Mohammed emphasised that Dubai’s success has been built on a distinctive approach to work that balances speed, precision, and excellence. “Dubai’s philosophy of work is built on achieving exceptional results in record time, with precision and excellence. Speed does not mean rushing, quality does not mean slowing down and ambition has no value without execution,” he said.  

The initiative seeks to codify and transmit this ethos to young people, entrepreneurs, and professionals across sectors, ensuring that the values underpinning Dubai’s transformation remain central to its future trajectory. By embedding these principles into education, training, and workplace culture, Dubai-it aims to create a generation that not only inherits Dubai’s achievements but also builds upon them with renewed vigour.  

Dubai’s rise from a regional trading hub to a global centre of commerce, tourism, and innovation has often been attributed to its ability to deliver projects of scale and ambition with remarkable speed and efficiency. From iconic infrastructure such as the Burj Khalifa and Dubai Metro to digital transformation initiatives and global events like Expo 2020, the city has consistently demonstrated how ambition paired with execution can redefine possibilities. Dubai-it is positioned as a framework to ensure that this mindset continues to shape the emirate’s evolution.  

The programme is expected to include mentorship opportunities, leadership workshops, and practical training modules that highlight the importance of combining vision with delivery.
