JUNG VON MATT NERD LAUNCHES FIRST ROBLOX TITLE FOR LIVE EVENTS

Jung von Matt NERD has entered games publishing with One Last Stand, its first original Roblox title. Designed for live events, the scalable multiplayer arena enables tailored tournaments with brands and organisers, merging physical and digital experiences. Fast rounds, customisation and spectator appeal make it ideal for activations and esports.

Jung von Matt NERD has taken its first step into games publishing with the global launch of One Last Stand, an original Roblox title designed to bridge the gap between digital play and physical events. Developed in collaboration with Hubert.Studio, the game introduces a scalable multiplayer format that can be tailored for trade shows, festivals, pop-ups and esports activations.

Unlike standalone Roblox experiences built for single campaigns, One Last Stand provides a flexible foundation for live tournament play. Brands and event organisers can adapt the game’s mechanics, visuals and formats to suit their objectives, creating customised competitions that extend the energy of the venue into Roblox. “With One Last Stand, gaming becomes an integral part of the live event rather than something that simply sits alongside it,” explained Thanh Dao, Managing Director at JvM NERD.

At its core, the game is a fast-paced, free-for-all arena where up to 25 players battle in short rounds, using customised weapons and abilities to knock opponents out until only one remains. Between matches, participants regroup in a shared lobby to upgrade equipment and unlock new items, ensuring continuity and engagement across successive rounds. The short session design and spectator-friendly gameplay make it particularly suited to live competitions, allowing visitors to join quickly while others follow the action.

Each activation can be uniquely branded, from visual identity to tournament structure, without the need to build a new game from scratch. This approach reflects a wider industry trend: marketers are increasingly seeking to connect physical events with digital communities, embedding gaming as part of the shared real-world experience rather than treating it as an add-on.

The launch marks JvM NERD’s debut in publishing and signals its ambition to position gaming at the heart of experiential marketing. The agency is already working with a launch partner on the first event-specific adaptation, underscoring the potential of One Last Stand to redefine how brands engage audiences across both physical and digital spaces.
