Accor has launched two Pullman hotels in Sri Lanka—Pullman Colombo City Centre and Pullman Bentota Resort & Spa—marking the brand’s debut in the country. The openings highlight Accor’s ambitious South Asia expansion, blending design, dining, and wellbeing experiences while boosting Sri Lanka’s tourism and hospitality landscape.
Accor has marked a defining milestone in its South Asia growth journey with the debut of Pullman Hotels in Sri Lanka, unveiling two flagship properties—Pullman Colombo City Centre and Pullman Bentota Resort & Spa. The dual opening represents a significant chapter for the global hospitality group, introducing Pullman’s ethos of purposeful design, vibrant social spaces, and distinctive dining and wellbeing experiences to two of Sri Lanka’s most compelling destinations.
The Pullman brand, built around exchange and connection, has been positioned to resonate strongly with Sri Lanka’s evolving tourism landscape. More than places to stay, both hotels have been conceived as destinations where business, leisure, and culture converge through meaningful moments of interaction.
Ranju Alex, CEO of Accor South Asia, described the launch as a landmark moment for the group. “This is an exciting moment for Accor as we introduce Pullman to Sri Lanka for the first time. Pullman has always been a brand built around bringing people, cultures and ideas together, making it a natural fit for a destination that continues to attract travellers seeking authentic experiences alongside world-class hospitality. Sri Lanka is an important and growing market within South Asia, with tremendous potential across business, leisure and experiential tourism. With Pullman Colombo City Centre and Pullman Bentota Resort & Spa, we are bringing two distinctive hospitality experiences that reflect the energy of Colombo and the natural beauty of Bentota. We look forward to contributing to the continued growth of Sri Lanka’s tourism and hospitality landscape.”
The initiative has been realised in partnership with Softlogic Holdings PLC, whose Chairman and Managing Director, Ashok Pathirage, emphasised the strategic importance of the collaboration. “Partnering with Accor to introduce the internationally acclaimed Pullman brand to Sri Lanka, with flagship 5‑star properties in Colombo and Bentota, marks a defining milestone for Softlogic Holdings and for the country’s hospitality landscape. This initiative reflects our long‑term confidence in Sri Lanka’s economic resurgence and tourism potential, as well as our commitment to building world‑class hospitality infrastructure that elevates the nation’s global standing. We believe Pullman Colombo City Centre and Pullman Bentota Resort & Spa, both 5‑star destinations, will set new benchmarks in premium hospitality, becoming preferred choices for business travellers, conferences, social celebrations, and leisure guests alike, while contributing significantly to employment, tourism growth, and the overall development of Sri Lanka.”
Pullman Colombo City Centre, located in the heart of Colombo’s commercial and lifestyle district, has been designed as a contemporary urban destination. The hotel offers 219 elegantly appointed rooms and suites, alongside a curated collection of dining venues including AYU, Thai Rasa, Adityaa, Collections Café, Mansion Lounge & Bar, and Vistas Rooftop Bar. Guests can also enjoy a rooftop infinity pool, tranquil spa, fully equipped fitness centre, and versatile meeting and event spaces. The property embodies Pullman’s philosophy of expressive design and flexible social spaces, creating an environment where guests can work, connect, and recharge throughout the day.
Together, Pullman Colombo City Centre and Pullman Bentota Resort & Spa are set to redefine premium hospitality in Sri Lanka, reinforcing Accor’s commitment to South Asia while contributing to the nation’s tourism growth and global positioning.
