She will focus on integrating client offerings, scaling AI, and reshaping company culture. Choueiri joins from The Estée Lauder Companies, bringing extensive experience in enterprise-wide transformation at global businesses.

WPP has announced the appointment of Anne-Isabelle Choueiri (Garcia) as its new Chief Transformation Officer, a role that places her at the heart of the company’s ambitious Elevate28 strategy. The appointment signals WPP’s determination to accelerate operational change, integrate its client services more effectively, and embed artificial intelligence at scale across its global network.

Choueiri’s remit will extend beyond systems and processes, encompassing the cultural transformation required to ensure WPP remains agile and competitive in a rapidly evolving industry. Her leadership will be pivotal in aligning the company’s diverse capabilities into a more unified offering, designed to deliver greater value to clients while fostering innovation and collaboration internally.

She joins WPP from The Estée Lauder Companies, where she played a central role in leading enterprise-wide transformation initiatives. Her experience in guiding major global businesses through complex change programmes is expected to bring both strategic clarity and operational discipline to WPP’s transformation agenda.

Mark Read, CEO of WPP, described her appointment as a significant step in advancing the Elevate28 strategy, which aims to position the company for long-term growth by modernising operations and harnessing the power of technology. “Anne-Isabelle brings a wealth of experience in driving transformation at scale,” he said. “Her expertise will be invaluable as we continue to evolve our business to meet the needs of clients and the opportunities of the future.”

For Choueiri, the role represents both a challenge and an opportunity to shape the future of one of the world’s largest advertising and communications groups. With the industry undergoing profound shifts driven by digital innovation, data, and AI, her appointment underscores WPP’s commitment to staying ahead of the curve.

As Chief Transformation Officer, she will be responsible for ensuring that WPP’s operational foundations are robust enough to support creative excellence and client growth. By focusing on integration, efficiency, and cultural renewal, Choueiri’s leadership is expected to help WPP deliver on its promise of transformation that is not only structural but also deeply human.

Her arrival marks a new chapter for WPP, one that blends strategic ambition with practical execution, and sets the stage for a company determined to redefine its role in the global communications landscape.
