BMW’s flagship SUV, the X7, has been unveiled in India with a bold design, cutting‑edge technology, and uncompromising luxury. Powered by a 381 hp TwinPower Turbo 6‑cylinder engine, the X7 accelerates from 0–100 km/h in 5.8 seconds, combining commanding road presence with refined comfort and digital innovation.

The BMW X7 has arrived in India as the marque’s most imposing SUV, blending aesthetics, performance, and innovation in a package designed for those who refuse to compromise. At ₹1.33 crore (ex‑showroom), the X7 xDrive40i sets a new benchmark in the luxury SUV segment, offering both grandeur and agility.

At 5.18 metres long, the X7’s proportions are unmistakably commanding. The iconic BMW kidney grille, flanked by slim crystal headlights, creates a striking front profile, while the sculpted lines and three‑dimensional rear lights accentuate its athletic stance. The SUV’s 21‑inch Y‑spoke alloy wheels in Jet Black further reinforce its dynamic character.

Inside, the X7 raises the bar for comfort and craftsmanship. The cabin features BMW Individual Merino leather trim, a panoramic glass sunroof, and CraftedClarity crystal glass elements on the gear selector and controls. Flexible seating configurations allow for six passengers with generous legroom, while the five‑zone automatic climate control ensures personalised comfort across all rows.

Technology plays a central role in the X7’s appeal. The BMW Curved Display integrates navigation and infotainment seamlessly, supported by the Harman Kardon surround sound system with 16 speakers. The SUV also introduces advanced driver assistance features, including Lane Change Warning, Rear Collision Prevention, and Parking Assistant Professional, which can memorise and repeat parking manoeuvres of up to 200 metres.

Performance remains at the heart of the X7. The TwinPower Turbo inline‑six petrol engine delivers 381 hp and 540 Nm of torque, paired with BMW’s 2‑Axle Air Suspension for superior ride comfort. Adaptive suspension and precise steering ensure stability across terrains, from urban roads to mountain passes.

Digital innovation enhances everyday usability. The BMW Digital Key allows owners to unlock and start the vehicle using a smartphone or smartwatch, with the option to share access with up to five people. The head‑up display with Augmented View projects navigation directly into the driver’s line of sight, while the My BMW app enables proactive service scheduling.

For those seeking individuality, BMW offers a wide range of M Performance Parts and Genuine Accessories, including the BMW Roof Box 520 for added practicality. Together, these elements make the X7 not just a vehicle but a statement of prestige, innovation and driving pleasure.

The arrival of the BMW X7 in India underscores the brand’s commitment to delivering uncompromising luxury and advanced technology to discerning buyers. It is not merely an SUV but a flagship that embodies BMW’s vision of elegance, power and digital sophistication.
