Bearded Kitten Studios reimagined The Stables in Covent Garden for Dove’s refillable drop shop, creating a pastel-hued, immersive brand experience. Oversized deodorant replicas, colour-zoned scent spaces, live sets from Griff and DJs, and interactive features like engraving and photobooths brought Dove’s refillable ethos to life in a strikingly creative showcase.
Covent Garden’s historic Stables were given a fresh, contemporary twist last week as Dove unveiled its refillable drop shop, a bold statement in sustainable beauty brought to life by Bearded Kitten Studios. The transformation was more than a retail activation; it was a sensory journey designed to embody the brand’s new refillable line.

Guests arriving at the venue were greeted by a blue carpet and branded media wall, setting the tone for a polished yet playful experience. Oversized deodorant replicas filled the windows, instantly catching the eye and serving as a tongue-in-cheek centrepiece. Inside, the space unfolded into a pastel dreamscape, drenched in soft hues of blue, pink and purple, each colour zone reflecting the scents in Dove’s collection.

The design was meticulous yet inviting. A refillable bar offered drinks, while product plinths encouraged visitors to test fragrances. An engraving station allowed for personalised touches, and a fully wrapped photobooth provided a shareable moment for social media-savvy guests. Chill-out areas ensured the event balanced energy with relaxation, creating a rhythm that mirrored Dove’s ethos of care and calm.
The pièce de résistance was the stage, framed by a hanging deodorant backdrop, where singer-songwriter Griff delivered a live performance. DJ sets across both days kept the atmosphere vibrant, ensuring the activation was not only about product but also about culture and community.
Bearded Kitten’s creative and design expertise was evident in every detail. What looked sharp in renders translated into an even more compelling reality, with the physical environment acting as a seamless extension of Dove’s refillable narrative. The studio’s ability to blend branding with experiential theatre underscored the growing importance of immersive activations in today’s competitive beauty market.

For Dove, the refillable drop shop was more than a launch; it was a statement of intent. By situating sustainability within a stylish, interactive and culturally resonant setting, the brand demonstrated how refillable products can be aspirational rather than purely functional. The Covent Garden showcase highlighted the power of design and performance in shaping consumer perceptions, proving that sustainability can be celebrated with creativity and flair.
In a city known for its heritage and innovation, Dove’s refillable pop-up stood out as a timely reminder: the future of beauty lies not only in what we use, but in how we experience it.
