Hyundai India marks 30 years by revisiting its enduring partnership with Shah Rukh Khan, a collaboration that began with the Santro era and evolved through models like the i10, CRETA and IONIQ 5. The campaign celebrates nostalgia, trust and mobility memories while setting the stage for the brand’s future journey in India.

Hyundai Motor India is celebrating three decades in the country by revisiting one of its most defining partnerships: its long-standing association with Shah Rukh Khan. The campaign draws on nostalgia and trust, evoking memories of the Santro era that helped shape Hyundai’s journey in India while highlighting how the collaboration has travelled across generations.

When Hyundai entered the Indian market in the late 1990s, the Santro quickly became a household name, and Shah Rukh Khan’s endorsement played a pivotal role in embedding the brand into the nation’s car culture. His presence lent credibility and emotional resonance, making the Santro more than just a car—it became a symbol of aspiration and modernity for millions of Indian families.

Over the years, the partnership evolved alongside Hyundai’s expanding portfolio. From the Santro to the i10, and later to SUVs such as the CRETA, the association with Khan continued to reinforce Hyundai’s image as a trusted and progressive brand. More recently, with the introduction of advanced models like the IONIQ 5, Hyundai has positioned itself at the forefront of future mobility, while maintaining the emotional connect that has been central to its success.

The 30-year campaign is built on themes of nostalgia, trust and shared mobility memories, celebrating how Hyundai and Khan became integral to India’s evolving automotive landscape. It reflects not only the company’s growth but also the transformation of Indian consumer aspirations, where cars are seen as extensions of lifestyle and identity. By revisiting this iconic partnership, Hyundai underscores the enduring power of cultural connection in brand storytelling.

For Hyundai, the collaboration with Shah Rukh Khan has been more than a marketing strategy; it has been a journey of mutual growth. As Khan’s career mirrored the rise of modern India, Hyundai’s trajectory in the automotive sector reflected the nation’s economic and cultural shifts. Together, they created a narrative that blended trust, innovation and aspiration, resonating across generations.

Looking ahead, Hyundai’s campaign signals a continuation of this legacy while embracing the future of mobility. With electric vehicles and smart technologies shaping the next chapter, the brand aims to balance innovation with the emotional resonance that has defined its presence in India. By celebrating its past while pointing towards the future, Hyundai reinforces its commitment to progress and connection.

As the company marks 30 years, the revisiting of its partnership with Shah Rukh Khan serves as both a tribute to its journey and a statement of intent. It is a reminder that while technology and design evolve, the essence of trust and shared memories remains timeless in shaping consumer relationships.
