Strategic consultancy Palladium Insights has appointed Ian Bellerby as Head of Brand Tracking & Comms and Josh Thomas-Goodey as Director, marking a pivotal step in its APAC expansion. Bellerby establishes Palladium’s first senior presence in Australia, while Thomas-Goodey enhances qualitative capability in New Zealand, reinforcing growth across ANZ.

Strategic insight consultancy Palladium Insights has announced two senior appointments as it accelerates growth across APAC and expands its international footprint to Australia. The New Zealand-based firm has named Ian Bellerby as Head of Brand Tracking & Comms and Josh Thomas-Goodey as Director, strengthening its leadership and capability across the ANZ region.

Bellerby’s appointment marks Palladium’s first senior presence on the ground in Australia, a milestone in its expansion strategy. With nearly two decades of experience, he began his career at Millward Brown in the UK before relocating to Australia in 2011. At Fiftyfive5, he spent more than a decade building and leading brand and communications tracking frameworks for major brands across Australia and New Zealand. At Palladium, he will focus on elevating tracking capability, leading expansion in Australia, and strengthening local client relationships.

“I’m excited to build on Palladium’s strong reputation in Australia,” said Bellerby. “There is a real opportunity to bring a forward-thinking approach to brand and communications tracking, and I look forward to using my experience to deliver impact for local clients.”

Thomas-Goodey, based in New Zealand, brings more than 20 years’ experience across qualitative and quantitative research in the UK, Australia and New Zealand. His background spans agency and client-side roles, with extensive work across government and major brands in FMCG, telco, banking and services. He will play a key role in expanding Palladium’s qualitative capability and deepening its presence in the government sector.

“Clients are looking for sharper, more decisive insight to navigate increasingly complex environments,” said Thomas-Goodey. “Palladium is well positioned to deliver that, and I’m looking forward to scaling our qualitative offering to drive meaningful impact for clients across ANZ.”

Richard Hall, Founding Partner at Palladium Insights, emphasised the significance of the appointments: “This next phase in the agency’s evolution is about establishing a more meaningful footprint in new markets and driving sustained international expansion. The appointment of Ian and Josh comes as Palladium continues to build momentum across ANZ, with an expanding client base and increased focus on delivering high-impact, locally led insights.”

The appointments underscore Palladium’s commitment to scaling with purpose, investing in senior leadership, and strengthening its presence in key APAC markets.
